Moon of Flowers Poem

Serendipitous Moon

Nature is full of wonder
The simple beauty of moon shadows
Mysterious and lovely

Water’s reflection of silent
Watchful stars-
Sparkling, shining
Trails of flickering light
Illuminating.

A field of dandelion wishes,
a giggling flurry of bats
Mole hills, sweet and damp
Luminous youth
Transition.

Ears swivel to hear
Birdsong falling up
Coyote’s serenade,
Dueling frogs
Mosquitoes
Silence
