Walk When the Moon Is Full. Inspired by the book of the same title by renowned naturalist Frances Hamerstrom and the 13 Moon Series by Jean Craighead George, this experiential program focuses on a natural history topic by moonlight. Discover the hidden nocturnal world of Whatcom County with us! Each month we delve into the night, exploring local parks and honing our naturalist skills.

This program is free, but group size is limited so registration is required.

Directions: Take Exit 270 (Birch Bay-Lynden Road) off Interstate 5, then drive west 4 miles to four-way stop at Harbor View Road. Turn right (north)1 mile to Lincoln Rd, then left (west) 3.8 miles to Semiahmoo Park.

WTA Route 55 provides access to the intersection of Drayton Harbor Rd and Harbor View Rd. Follow Drayton Harbor Rd west 2.5 miles to Semiahmoo Parkway, then north 0.6 miles to the park.
